Manipur Singam Lottery Draw Names – What They Mean
Every Singam draw name is the name of a plant or flower — rooted in the natural world of northeast India. "Singam" itself is a Tamil word for lion, giving each draw an identity that combines local culture with botanical imagery. Here's what each time slot's series represents.
🌼
Singam Tagetes / Plumeia / Vinca…
11:00 AM Draw · Daily
The 11 AM draws use the names of flowers and plants for each day of the week. Tagetes (marigold) on Monday, Plumeia (frangipani) on Tuesday, Vinca on Wednesday, Viola on Thursday, Verbena on Friday, Subtle on Saturday, and Dignity on Sunday. These botanical names give each draw a distinct identity while keeping the series unified under "Singam." The morning draw is popular with early risers and daily workers who check results on their way to work.
Draws daily at 11:00 AM IST
🌹
Singam Glory / Tough / Croton…
3:00 PM Draw · Daily
The 3 PM series uses strength and character-based names. Glory on Monday, Tough on Tuesday, Croton (a hardy tropical plant) on Wednesday, Robust on Thursday, Energy on Friday, Dignity on Saturday, and Subtle on Sunday. The afternoon draw is the most popular of the three sessions, typically attracting the largest number of ticket holders. Prices and prize structures are identical across all three daily draws.
Draws daily at 3:00 PM IST
✨
Singam Admire / Great / Delight…
7:00 PM Draw · Daily
The evening draw uses aspirational and positive names — Admire on Monday, Great on Tuesday, Delight on Wednesday, Power on Thursday, Feather on Friday, Vine on Saturday, and Plumeia on Sunday. The 7 PM draw is the final chance of the day and gives people one last reason to check their tickets before bed. The name "Admire" on the flagship Monday slot reflects the overall aspirational tone of the series.
Three draws run every single day of the week — including Sundays and public holidays. The draw name changes each day within each series but the prize structure, rules and claim process remain identical. Use this schedule to know exactly which draw you're playing.

How to Check Your Manipur Lottery Ticket
The Singam Lottery publishes separate result images for each of the three draws. Here's the right way to read any of them so you never miss a prize.
🕐Open this page after 11 AM, 3 PM or 7 PM IST. The result image for each draw is published here within minutes of the official announcement. The draw tabs at the top of the page let you switch between all three.
📅Before matching any numbers, check the date shown at the top of the result image. Your ticket's date and the result's date must match. Checking a Monday result against a Tuesday ticket is the most common mistake players make.
🎟️Find the draw series name in the result and confirm it matches the one printed on your ticket. Singam Tagetes (11 AM), Singam Glory (3 PM) and Singam Admire (7 PM) on a Monday are three entirely separate draws.
🔍Match your full ticket number against the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize numbers listed. For the 4th and 5th prize, only the last 4 digits need to match. Check this row carefully — thousands of people win here and most skip it.
✍️Found a match? Immediately sign the back of your ticket with your name before showing it to anyone or telling anyone you've won. This signature is your legal claim to the prize.
🏦Claim prizes of a few thousand rupees or less from any authorised Manipur Lottery agent. For larger prizes including the ₹27 lakh 1st prize, visit an authorised claim office in person with your signed ticket, Aadhaar and PAN.
⚠️ Always verify your result against the official image on this page before visiting any claim office. Results from WhatsApp or social media can be faked or from wrong dates.
How to Read the Manipur Singam Lottery Result Image
Each draw produces its own result image with the same layout. If you've never seen a Singam lottery result image before, this annotated guide walks you through every part of it — so you know exactly what to look at and what to match.
Upload manipur-result-guide.png to your /images/ folder on the server
①
Check the header date firstThe top of every result image shows the official draw date. Before reading a single number, confirm this date matches your ticket's date. Checking the wrong day's result is the most common reason players think they haven't won when they actually have.
②
Find your draw time sectionEach result image covers one draw. If you're looking at the 11 AM result, the header will say "Singam Tagetes" (or whichever Monday-Sunday variant applies). The background colour tells you which session — yellow for 11 AM, pink for 3 PM, blue for 7 PM.
③
Match the 1st Prize exactlyThe 1st prize shows a series prefix code (ST for Tagetes, SG for Glory, SA for Admire, etc.) followed by a full ticket number. Both the code and every digit must match your ticket exactly. Even one wrong digit means no 1st prize.
④
Check 2nd and 3rd prize rows carefullyThese rows list multiple full ticket numbers. Scan across the entire row. A full 6-digit match wins ₹5,000 (2nd prize) or ₹1,000 (3rd prize). Take your time — these rows can have many numbers and it's easy to miss yours if you rush.
⑤
4th and 5th prize — only last 4 digitsThis is the most missed section. For the ₹700 and ₹500 prizes, only the last 4 digits of your ticket need to match any number in the row. Thousands of tickets win here every draw. If you didn't win in the top tiers, always check this row before putting your ticket away.
⑥
Consolation prize — same number, different seriesThe ₹10,000 consolation prize goes to tickets that share the same full number as the 1st prize winner but carry a different series code. If your number matches the 1st prize number but your prefix is different, look for the consolation row in the result.
⑦
Day-specific name variants are cosmetic only"Singam Tagetes" on Monday and "Singam Plumeia" on Tuesday both follow identical rules. The draw name changes daily within the 11 AM series but the prize structure, format and claim process are exactly the same every day.
⑧
Each draw is independent — check all 3If you hold tickets for all three daily draws, you need to check all three results separately. A win or loss in the 11 AM draw has no effect on your 3 PM or 7 PM tickets. Switch between result tabs above to check each one.
⑨
Won? Sign the back of your ticket immediatelyThe moment you confirm a match, write your full name on the back of the ticket. Do this before photographing it, sharing it, or telling anyone other than a trusted family member. Your signature is the legal proof of ownership.
⑩
Claim window is exactly 30 daysYou have 30 days from the draw date to file your prize claim — not 31, not 32. There are no extensions and no grace periods. If you've won, start the claim process this week, not next month.
📌 Result images on this page are sourced directly from official channels. Always check results here rather than from WhatsApp or Telegram forwards, which can be altered, misdated or outright fake.
How to Claim a Manipur Singam Lottery Prize
Knowing how to claim is just as important as knowing if you've won. Many valid prizes — including large ones — go unclaimed every year simply because winners don't follow the right steps or miss the 30-day window. Here's exactly what to do.
✍️Step 1 — Sign your ticket immediately. The moment you confirm a win, sign the back of the ticket with your full name. This is the single most important action and should happen before anything else — before you tell your family, before you photograph it, before anything.
💵Small prizes (below TDS threshold): Prizes up to ₹10,000 can be collected from any authorised Manipur Lottery agent — the same counter where you bought the ticket. Bring your original signed ticket. Do not bring a photocopy or phone photo — agents must see the original.
🏦Large prizes (above ₹10,000): Visit an authorised Manipur Lottery claim office in person. Bring your original signed ticket, Aadhaar card and PAN card. The TDS deduction (30% for prizes above ₹10,000) will be processed at this point — use the prize calculator above to know your exact payout in advance.
📅The 30-day window is absolute. From the date of the draw, you have exactly 30 days to submit your claim. No extensions are granted for any reason — travel, illness, or unawareness. If you know you've won, do not delay starting the process.
🔒Tell as few people as possible until after you've claimed. Lottery prize fraud typically starts the moment someone else learns you've won before you've secured the ticket in an official claim. Keep your win private until the process is complete.
How to Spot a Fake Manipur Lottery Result or Scam
Lottery scams targeting Manipur and northeast lottery players are widespread — they appear on WhatsApp, Telegram and even phone calls. Understanding how they work is your best defence.
🚨
Red Flags — Walk Away If You See Any of These
❌A phone call, SMS or WhatsApp message tells you that you've won a Manipur Lottery prize. The Manipur Lottery authority never contacts winners by phone or message. If someone is reaching out to tell you that you've won, they are running a scam.
❌You are asked to pay any amount upfront — a "processing fee," "release tax," "registration fee" or similar — before receiving your prize. Genuine lottery prizes never require any payment from the winner. The deduction (TDS) happens at the claim office after your ticket is verified, never before.
❌The result image someone sent you looks slightly different from the one on this page — different fonts, blurred numbers, missing official header, or a date that doesn't match today's draw.
❌A website or social media page claims to show "Manipur Lottery results" but the URL is not checklotteryresults.com or the official Manipur government lottery site. Many fake sites copy the look of official pages.
❌Someone is selling "advance tips," "sure winning numbers," or "predicted results" for upcoming Singam draws. All Manipur Lottery draws are random. There is no way to predict results and anyone claiming to offer them is running a fraud.
✅ How to Verify a Genuine Manipur Singam Result in 3 Steps
Open checklotteryresults.com/manipur-lottery-today-10am-2pm-5pm-result directly in your browser. Never follow links from WhatsApp, SMS or email to check your result.
View the official result image on this page and match your ticket number yourself — never ask someone else to check it for you or accept their word that you've won.
If you've won, sign your ticket and visit an authorised agent or claim office in person. Do not share photos of your winning ticket on social media.
State-wise Availability – Where Can You Buy Manipur Lottery Tickets?

The home state of the Singam Lottery. Tickets are sold in every district — Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Thoubal and beyond. Every authorised lottery counter carries all three daily draw series.
Assam
✅ Widely Available
Widely sold in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar and border towns. Assam permits interstate lottery tickets and the proximity to Manipur means agents in most commercial areas carry Singam tickets.
Nagaland
✅ Available
Available in Dimapur, Kohima and commercial areas. Nagaland runs its own state lottery and permits other state lotteries including Manipur's Singam series.
Meghalaya
✅ Available
Available in Shillong, Tura and district headquarters. Meghalaya's permissive lottery environment means Singam tickets can be found at authorised lottery counters across the state.
Mizoram
✅ Available
Available in Aizawl and major market towns. Given Mizoram's border with Manipur, Singam lottery tickets are accessible in most commercial lottery counters.
Tripura

Arunachal Pradesh

Jharkhand
⚠️ Check Locally
Border areas near the northeast corridor may have tickets available but the legal status of interstate lottery sales is not clearly established. Verify with a licensed agent before buying.
Bihar
⚠️ Restricted
Bihar's official stance on interstate lotteries is restrictive. Some northeast-corridor areas may have access informally but buy only from clearly licensed counters and check current rules first.
Odisha
⚠️ Check Locally
Lottery legality varies by district. Northern Odisha near Jharkhand may have access. Always verify with a licensed vendor before purchasing.
Maharashtra
⚠️ Check Locally
Maharashtra technically only officially permits its own state lottery. Consult a licensed lottery agent in your area before participating in Manipur or other state lotteries.
Delhi (NCT)
⚠️ Unclear
Delhi has no state lottery and the legal framework for interstate lottery sales is ambiguous. Some agents carry northeast lottery tickets, but the regulatory status is not officially confirmed.

Manipur Singam vs Other Indian State Lotteries
How does the Singam Lottery compare to the other major state lotteries in India? This comparison covers the things that actually matter — ticket cost, number of daily draws, top prize, and result timings.
📌 Manipur Singam Lottery offers the highest 1st prize in the northeast at ₹27 lakh — more than 27× the Bodoland 1st prize at the same ₹6 ticket price as Nagaland Sambad. If you're in northeast India and want the biggest local jackpot for the same ₹6, Singam is the strongest option.

🎟️What is today's Manipur Lottery draw name?

The 1st Prize is ₹27,00,000 (27 lakh rupees) — the highest regular jackpot offered by any northeastern state lottery. After 30% TDS, the takehome amount is ₹18,90,000. Use the prize calculator on this page to see takehome for any prize amount.
💵How much does a Manipur Singam Lottery ticket cost?
A Manipur State Lottery (Singam) ticket costs ₹6. This is the same price as the Nagaland Sambad ticket but gives you access to a ₹27 lakh 1st prize — the highest regular jackpot in northeast India's state lotteries.
⚖️Is the Manipur Singam Lottery legal?

Prizes above ₹10,000 attract 30% TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) under Section 115BB of the Income Tax Act, deducted before payout. Prizes of ₹10,000 or below — such as the 2nd prize (₹5,000) and lower tiers — are paid in full without any deduction. The consolation prize of ₹10,000 is right at the threshold; check current rules at the claim office.
🚨Someone called to say I've won the Manipur Lottery — is it real?
No. The Manipur Lottery authority never contacts winners by phone, WhatsApp or SMS. If someone is calling or messaging to say you've won — especially if they're asking for any fee or personal details — it is a scam. Always check your result yourself on this page by matching your ticket number against the official result image.
How a Manipur Singam Lottery Ticket Looks – Front & Back Guide
Most lottery players have never looked closely at what's actually printed on their ticket — they just check the number and move on. This guide walks you through every element on both sides of a genuine Singam ticket, so you know exactly what you're holding, what each part means, and what to look for to confirm your ticket is authentic.
FRONT SIDE
The Front — Where Your Winning Number Is
10 labelled elements explained below the image
①Government Header — "Government of Manipur, State Lotteries Department" confirms this is an official issued ticket, not a private lottery.
②Draw Name + Time — Tells you which Singam series and exactly which time slot (11 AM, 3 PM or 7 PM) this ticket is valid for.
③Ticket Number — The most critical element. This 6-digit number (with series prefix) is what you match against the published result image.
④Series Letter (A/B/C…) — Tickets in the same draw belong to different series. Same number in a different series = consolation prize eligibility.
⑤Draw Date — The date this ticket is valid for. You must check results for this exact date — not yesterday's, not tomorrow's.
⑥Ticket Price: ₹6 — The fixed official price. If any agent charges more than ₹6 for the same ticket, walk away.
⑦Prize Structure Table — All 5 prize tiers listed with amounts and match requirement (full number vs last 4 digits).
⑧Authorised Agent Stamp — A genuine licensed agent's stamp must appear on the ticket. No stamp means the ticket's authenticity cannot be confirmed.
⑨Fine Print & Claim Details — The 30-day claim window and TDS rules are printed here. "I didn't know" is not accepted as a reason for a missed claim.
⑩Pink Security Strip (Left Edge) — The perforated pink strip running down the left edge is a security feature. Its absence on a ticket is a red flag.
BACK SIDE
The Back — Sign Here the Moment You Win
8 labelled elements — the signature box is the most important
①Winner's Signature Box — The moment you confirm a win, sign your full name here. Do this before telling anyone, photographing it, or showing it to any agent.
②Small Prize Claim (≤ ₹10,000) — Instructions for collecting lower prizes from any authorised agent the same day, in cash, no paperwork.
③Large Prize Claim (> ₹10,000) — Requires a visit to the official claim office with Aadhaar and PAN. TDS of 30% is deducted before payout.
④30-Day Deadline Warning — Printed explicitly on the back. Count from the draw date. No extensions — ever.
⑤Scam Warning Section — The back of every official Singam ticket explicitly states the lottery authority never contacts winners by phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
⑥"No Upfront Fees" Notice — Any request for a fee before prize release is a scam. This is printed on every genuine ticket.
⑦Control Number — A unique identifier linking this physical ticket to the official draw record. Used during verification at the claim office.
⑧Pink Security Strip (Right Edge) — Should match the front strip. Both strips together form part of the anti-counterfeit system.
📌 Fake tickets exist. Always verify: (1) government header present, (2) authorised agent stamp on back, (3) pink security strip on both edges, (4) printed ticket — never handwritten. If any of these are missing, do not purchase or play the ticket.

🔍 How to Identify a Genuine Licensed Singam Lottery Agent
🪧Official signboard — Genuine agents display an official "Manipur State Lotteries — Authorised Agent" sign or banner. If there is no signboard, ask to see the licence.
🖨️Printed tickets only — Every genuine ticket is machine-printed. If an agent offers handwritten or photocopied tickets, walk away immediately.
💰Fixed price of ₹6 — The official ticket price is ₹6 and cannot be increased by any agent. If charged more, the agent is either unlicensed or overcharging.
🔖Agent stamp on back — The agent must stamp their code on the back of the ticket. No stamp = your ticket may not be redeemable at the claim office.
📋Proper receipt — Ask for a receipt when buying multiple tickets. Licensed agents keep records and can provide receipts. Unlicensed sellers typically refuse.
📍Permanent location — Licensed agents operate from a fixed counter or shop, not from a moving person or vehicle. Street vendors selling lottery tickets should always be approached cautiously.
⚠️ Do not buy Singam Lottery tickets online. There is no official online purchase channel for Manipur State Lottery. Any website or app claiming to sell Manipur Lottery tickets is operating illegally or fraudulently. Buy only from physically licensed agents in person.
About the Manipur State Lottery (Singam Series)
A brief overview of the Manipur State Lottery, its history, and what makes the Singam series unique among northeast India's state lotteries.
The Manipur State Lottery is a government-run lottery operated under the Manipur Finance Department, one of the smallest and most distinctive state lotteries in India. What sets it apart is the prize scale — at ₹27 lakh for the first prize, it offers the highest regular jackpot in northeastern India for a ₹6 ticket. No other northeastern state lottery comes close at this ticket price point.
The lottery runs three daily draws under the unified brand name Singam — a Tamil word for lion. Each of the three time slots (11 AM, 3 PM and 7 PM) runs its own named series with day-specific variants. The 11 AM series uses botanical names (Tagetes, Plumeia, Vinca, Viola, Verbena, Subtle, Dignity), while the 3 PM and 7 PM series use strength and character-based names. This naming system gives each of the 21 weekly draws a distinct identity that regular players recognise and follow.
Singam tickets are sold throughout Manipur and across the northeastern states. The lottery is fully legal under the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998 and results are officially published after each draw. Players should always buy tickets from licensed physical agents only — there is no official online ticket sale channel, and any website claiming to sell Manipur Lottery tickets online should be treated with extreme caution.
